fcuking school reopen..

a fcuking lousy day.. with only one rewarding matter..

my day fell apart when i realised that my 02 screen cracked.. FCUK!!! some areas on the screen can no longer be pressed.. it's crying out to be repaired.. n that really means burning a fcuking huge hole in my pocket.. i worked in a hp distributing store b4.. so i noe that a pda screen is freaking ex la! i had to call 02 service centre immediately.. they quoted the price at $181.25.. thats a fake!! cos when i went down later in the evening to repair, it became $234.75!!! $181.25 is jus the screen without any GST, without any servicing charge.. so thus the price.. i had to repair man..

but like i said, there was ONE rewarding matter.. the stage crew got together today to set up the stage back drop.. it was built up piece by piece.. lotsa hard work.. eventually, the result was fabulous.. i've a pic.. its onli the backdrop, still incomplete.. nice? haha wait till u guys see the entire piece on the concert night..

hopefully tmr can complete 80% of wad is required of the stage backdrop.. tmr still got sec 4 art.. wonder wad have those who did not turn up during the holidays done.. hmmm.. buzy week ahead.. stress..

another day spent lazing at home..

sighz.. today is the last of the holidays.. will hav to be in school officially in a few hours time.. ;~(

its the second time i spent the school holidays as a teacher.. realised that it isn't exactly that relaxing, esp if one is taking the graduating class.. this holidays.. a big portion was spent in sch, having extra lessons with my sec4 art students.. apart from that, still had to go back to settle the 40th anniversary project + stage backdrop.. not forgetting the holiday sports module and the staff retreat.. not exactly a very exciting holidays when one goes overseas.. but i must say that it was STILL quite well spent.. i get to know the students better for one.. from the way they work during the extra lessons.. thats a big bonus.. though i'm leaving soon yeah.. 1 more month for them to submit their coursework to Candy.. good luck.. those that came, i offered as much help as possible.. those who didn't, too bad for yer.. hopefully u did ur part at home ba..

took a gamble early in the morning.. cab or train.. chose the latter, since i spent $13.50 on the 1st day for tt ridiculous cab fare -.-'''

the station i'm in-charge of went OK.. think i got the message across, some pple seem interested.. but wif justin's gym ball station just beside mine, every1 flocked to him! haha.. the gym ball seriously quite fun.. sing ee n myself snatchin over it too..

went paragon b4 tt wif woeiling, justin n david to get the gym balls.. was telling woeiling tt the 1st level is out of bounds to me.. haha.. can onli shop around in the basement.. most affordable place in tt building.. was attracting so much attention as we brought the gym ball out of the building to Park Hotel.. ;) i like.. haha..

wanted to gym wif jason aft the retreat.. but din bring clothes! den jason suggested gg to buy new apparels to wear them straight away.. haha.. wad a good excuse to spend money! but nah.. eyes getting tired.. so shopped around in paragon(again) n taka.. proceeded home shortly after much browsing..

so tts all.. the backache is still here.. wonder how long its gg to hang around.. sighz tmr long day.. needa chiong the 40th anniversary stage, supervise the art grp, and may still needa go down to NTU to submit some docs.. ;( long day.. was thinkin whether fri can bring the kids out to eat.. since its the last of the holidays.. can subsidise.. haha..

today(yesterday since its past 12) go sch so boring.. the art students didnt manage to do much.. all so lethargic.. oh ya.. candy's back.. helped her tidy the project room.. so many extra half-used mounting board.. gg to use them to do some painting.. yeah! free paper.. syahira didnt come today.. a disappointment.. in fact, all of them didnt perform up to expectation.. lets c thurs ba..

go sch onli so many thigns to do~ meow choon ask me print birthday cards.. justin ask me settle the payment for kayaking.. den needa take over vincent's task at staff retreat.. i weighed my options b4 changin out to get ready for sch de.. in the end.. aiyah go la.. mayb adilah can finish her painting.. den move on to prep work.. den i can take the photo put in my blog also.. who noes sia.. wait here wait there.. in the end nothing.. pls man.. next time come to class, pls produce work.. dun come to art room n laze around.. once sch reopens u dun even hav to chance to go art room in the aftnns already.. dang.. suffering from a strained lower back n having the runs.. den the salon pas comes in so small pieces.. one shot used four la.. waste man.. k nvm.. more fotos from the kayaking.. i liked this part, where they formed a circle n slowly waded to the sea.. its to test their water confidence n swimming abilities.. they're required to float on their backs aft abt 15mins off the shore..

they are den required to swim even further out.. heres shiyuan, our non-swimmer.. stays opp the swimming pool, but cant swim..

capsize drill is a must.. some of them real good..faaril i think, or aidil.. cant rem.. vincent is also quite good eh.. haha.. one shot kill..

ok i used to wana give my blog interesting titles.. but nowadays.. cant seem to be bothered.. so a simple description shall do..

wed night had mahjong at fannie's place.. den next day kayakin.. quite shack lo.. some more so long never kayak.. this kayakin thinggi is so crap.. they changed their venue n they didnt update the site n consent forms.. i brought the students all the way to east coast to find out they shifted to kallang.. -.- brought them to mac aft a long search for breakfast n proceeded shortly to kallang.. its just beside Police Coast Guard.. the instructors are quite young n friendly.. one of them even younger den me.. haha..

went back to sch.. got some help frm them to carry those wood pieces to the foyer.. actualli they look good.. doris n shandy looked quite impressed wif it.. mdm wong too.. took cab down.. chat wif driver.. den later chat wif the framing shop auntie abt her daughters.. so fun.. haha.. later cab again to fannie's house for mahjong lo.. so long nvr go liao.. =~~~( lost $20+.. lucky clemence sponsor us cab fare..

fatimah rockers!!!

oh had a great camp.. not great as in it was so fun.. but great in the sense that i learnt so many new things.. like ''fatimah rocker''

well the 5 students who camped overnite were adila, alicia, hidayah, fadli n suhair.. there was some progress in their work.. but not alot to b honest.. well they taught me a new term in the aftnn --- fatimah rocker.. took me some time to understand what it meant.. realli means potianak la.. haha..

had some badminton at 5pm+ yesterday.. so i left the art.. it was onli later during dinner tt they told me they had some sp0oky encounters.. doors closing.. volume turned down.. cant rem the rest.. tot they were joking.. but seems real enuff.. til this point, duno whether to believe them or not..

i dun hav dinner, so went out to get some.. fadli n adila followed me.. edmund came along as well to get some drinks.. h0oked on slurpee man.. was damn thirsty aft the badminton session la.. went back to sch shortly.. but the PLs n SCc were preparing their farewell prog.. they rox man.. haha. the SCs..

Dewi so good.. played the piano for a while den she coached me.. so good.. appreciated her effort.. aft which.. the SCs had a draft of their performance.. so farni!! rakin makes a darn good emcee.. he introduced the 'fatimah rocker'!!!! i was like.. eh i tot tts ghost? n i jus added tt to my vocab a few hours ago~ fatimah came out shortly wif her performace, a fashion show~ haha.. danced damn well la.. 2nd grp not so good la..sing song onli.. still play wrong song.. but last grp is go0d!! denise grp if i rem correctly..

aft those performance, it was so boring.. onli left fadli n me.. waited n slacked for so long.. until we went to the toilet to c some of the SCs make up~ hidayah was complaining all the way la.. i was still sayin if i bring her go MOS, she claimed sure kena XXXXXXX.. haha.. but the other girl councillor was quite well-dressed.. not forgettin our pretty boy.. brought fadli to the staff room aft tt to blow aircon n slack.. woeiling came along n chatted wif me abt her roadtrip.. sounds.. not too good.. haha.. anw the PLs finished shortly, so we went to bathe.. so refreshing.. i still rem adilah lost her orange toothbrush.. haha.. anw i ordered macdonald's aft tt.. $42.75.. argh..

so aft all had out shower, went back to art room.. i painted my own stuff while they had their mac meal.. waterfall.. 1st time try, so not bad.. shall put up the pic another day.. mayb tmr.. tried another one today, also not bad.. fadli was sayin "cikgu cepat sia".. meaning i painted quite fast.. yeap~ haha..

ok la today nothing much.. aft breakfast came back to art room to work, but hidayah cried aft afew hours.. feeling quite lost in her work.. found tt out frm the others.. well i gav her some analogies.. n encouraged her to 'move on', to realli put her stuff into use.. think she managed to comprehend, so she wanted to leave early today to go art friend get new materials.. a good start, so keep it gg..

my nose is running away!!

stupid nose.. keep leaking all the disgusting mucus.. n i took cab.. argh.. $3.90.. not good..

i came in to class quite disappointed.. there was like almost no one in my grp.. pple went for macpherson idol WITHOUT informing me.. n den some forget to tell me.. knew it frm daphne.. luckily i didnt forget their presentation.. had it later in the aftnn.. it went on quite well.. most had their presentation today.. some are gg to do it tmr.. now they know better abt each others work and also the progress.. hope that the stress generated is healthy in spurring them to finish their work faster..

turns out tt some of the class are having flu n runny nose also.. so pple started takin my tissue paper.. my 3/4 full pack of tissue was reduced to only afew b4 i left sch.. the rest was finished b4 i left sch to eat at nite..

talkin abt food.. the F&N class cooked some good food today also..popped in to kope some food.. hmm.. i shant say kope.. cos mdm zainah actualli invited me since yesterday to go in n eat.. dun needa eat lunch.. but i ate anw.. haha.. din managed to try jessica's food.. looks good.. also becos i helped her to decorate.. then scarlett is like in a mess again.. couldnt finish on time.. aaron's dont look too good.. eeeee.. esteen looks great.. her peach sponge cake looks damn good.. she offered her chawanmushi-like egg dish while i was in the room.. aaron brought it in.. but cannot la.. mus eat wif rice.. i went back to her n she offered me the cake.. tasted quite nice.. i like.. but i sore throat so couldnt finish everything i took.. sorry.. heh..

was almost late for sch.. tummy ache.. stuck at the toilet bowl for like 1/2 hr.. luckily got service 63A.. if not, its gotta be cab again.. $4.70.. realli not doing justice to my pocket..

anw.. i brought those kids to the ITE today.. quite simple a task.. i must say i enjoyed it.. go there n relac.. the most memorable thing i took away wif me, the standard of the canteen.. wonderful food.. theres even a fruit juice stall.. that sells onli fruit juice.. be it fresh or pkt.. we should hav something like that in our sch.. healthier..

back in sch.. i went to the art room lookin for candy.. too bad she wasnt there.. wanted to tell her tt the remedial was taken over my doris.. dang.. but i saw the sec3 NA art students.. vinay was relieving them for sulaiman.. so i had a chat wif them.. showed them some art stuff n how to go abt doing their work.. think like the sec3 EX, they can comprehend wif wat im gettin at..

Catherine came in 1/2 way, to continue doing the happy toilet.. was glad tt they took pride in their work.. so i went on to help them.. Fadli's grp came in later..

happy toilets aint so happy after all..... -.-zzz

was spent today.. energy lost > energy gained.. david was right abt the happy toilets in a way.. they aint as happy as they should be..

started at past 830? i went to 4G to take over candy as she started off the happy toilet prog.. horrible class i must say.. but there are a few who realli slogged their guts out in cleaning the class.. the 1/2 bimbos got themselves in trouble.. as usual.. immediately aft assembly.. n i think aft cleaning as well.. stupid gers went in2 the guys toilet n got themselves all wet..

its realli fun to see so many students gathered @ the art room to the project.. cept they dilly dally.. waste so much time.. then the choke happened arnd 1030-1130.. everyone rushin for projectors to enlarge their work.. b4 tt, i was often stationed @ 4F's corner.. helpin them wif their design.. interestin pair of gers.. was laughin my way thru wif them.. but didnt get their names.. nvm shall ask ruiwen tmr~ they worked on the jap woman n man.. ez to draw yeah.. but difficult yo paint.. we even had to sought help frm peiling on how to write 厕所.. dang my chi standard plunged.. wanted to write in 清把厕所保持干净..

candy left half way to settle her student tt skipped exam.. den left me in art room.. it was hell of a job.. esp aft i opened sulaiman's room for copying.. had to run on both sides.. mostly today i helped 4A, 4E and 4F.. cant rem the rest.. think the rest i jus gav comments here n there n painted a little portion for them..

i was planning to pia the keyin in of the results while eatin my beloved meal.. but ruiwen had to use the VPN.. had to wait.. den tell me to eat finish 1st.. i was like.. no0oo0oO~ i told her i will feel slpy 10-15mins aft lunch.. but i endured.. i waited for her VPN n pia the results all the way till dey were completed.. wad a relief.. finally.. made a trip to the hall aft roundin up some work in the office.. practise the piano.. no much of a progress.. den i saw the ncc specs trainin up the sec3s.. went down to giv some pointers.. hope this batch of sec3s will meet up to expectations..

i looked forward to the NAPFA test today.. hmmm.. interesting yea.. but a little draggy.. lucky thing justin assigned 2 ex-students to my station.. n thanks to the councillor tt was accompanyin me all the way.. really appreciate her presence n effort.. i'ld hav been dead bored w/o her.. sit n reach.. i tried to b lenient~ yea.. even those who requested more than 2 attempts, i giv it to them.. i dun mind.. if it can help them pass or get a better grade, y not~ some students i noe came to me.. hmm.. most impressionable.. the bimbo grp n the ncc grp.. bimbo grp gt peklian n kai xin.. ncc got faisal.. n.. n.. oops.. oh got suhair.. but hes not ncc.. memory lost.. dang.. i wante to take photos to add into the blog.. but i realli cant b bothered of walkin all the way back to the staff rm to get the darn camera.. oh i also went over to the pull-up section.. gav those students there some tips.. den i myself did a little.. vinay vincent n waldy did some pull-ups too..

art lesson wif my sec4s today was quite a lecture.. went in n told them abt their flairs n flaws n how to improve.. they choose to keep their scores private.. so i respected tt.. distributed the scripts w/o readin out the scores.. darn i told dem tt dey could take back the score sheet.. i really dun rem candy tellin me tt they cant take it back.. mayb she didnt even say? hmmm... some came to me to ask abt their work.. muthu n ira were among them.. at least i can see tt they bothered.. afterall, the scores arent tt fantastic.. i really wanted pple to come to me so tt i can explain to dem how to improve.. even though it would take a long time for each explanation.. i took quite a long time wif ira for one.. but at the same time, i expected a poor response.. frm the attitude of the class, dey realli cant b bothered.. the 4E pple for eg realli cant b bothered.. jus sit there n chit chat among themselves.. jus hope dey noe where went wrong n hope to improve for the next test..

aft sch was realli fun~ ok not all tt fun for a start cos i havent finished the tabulation of my mid-yr grades.. managed to finish t\it eventualli though.. but the best part was the macpherson idol!! yea i was approached to b a judge for this exciting event!! its so fun!! i must say im not v well exposed to the diff genres of eng hits.. but definitely able to discern the difference btwn a good candidate n a lesser abled one.. we were lookin @ two things: vocal capabilities n showmanship.. after all, this is an idol thinggi.. must b able to hav tt idol "sei" which brings me to the one of the candidate, who is none other than chuiling! yea.. i think i gav her quite abit of comments.. told her tt she has a really sweet voice.. n tt she really needa choose a slow paced song to maximise her potential n allow the audience to appreciate tt honey-like voice.. the remaining 7 shall b disclosed 2mr.. think the final 8 are really deserving of their placing in the finals.. wish you pple all the best..

anw, it was a pleasant piano lesson aft sch at mengyeng's hse today.. think i realli needa get a piano to practise at home.. no piano realli v dificult to improve.. i'm head and ears are now stucked wif this new song "River flows in you" , by Yimura.. chanced upon it last week.. or the week b4? cant rem.. anw it was when we were playin badminton and a student came in2 the hall to play tt piece.. so captivating.. afew of our students can play tt piece quite well.. impressed.. wad talent.. i'm envious eh.. eventualli managed to get hold of the scores frm one of them.. frm 3E but duno his name.. so i'm practising it now.. managed to clear onli 1.5 lines of the entire piece.. yeah i noe its slow.. but i've no music.. think its fair.. ;p quite tiring to practise piano actualli.. ruiwen said its a relatively ez piece, cept it isnt tt ez to bring out the feeling~ haha.. quite true.. this song like got a lot of feelings.. simple and serene.. k i shall end here.. nothing much to write..

bad friday vs good saturday

friday was a real rotten day.. 2 main things.. badminton n art remedial..

athena was really enthu abt playin badminton tt fateful day.. even brought her very own racket.. nano some more.. good brand.. high tension n light.. BUT.. when i proceeded to the hall tt day to search for the guys, i was seriously shocked to witness tt the hall has already been arranged wif tables n chairs, in prep for the mid-yr exams.. frantically tried to contact athena.. but in vain.. it was onli half 1/2hr later tt she was walkin to the stffrm n told her abt the situation.. SHE WAS FURIOUS.. cos this isnt the 1st time tt our hall b0okin was overwrite.. there were the CAs.. n the SYF dances.. but this time round, she was realli serious abt ventin it out.. esp since its the LAST time.. things happened within her n the exam committee.. n there was arrangements to allow one court for playin.. we shift away the desks n chairs, play, n then shift back.. but aft shiftin, aft settin up the net n all, danny n lalitha came by.. apparently they disapproved of it as well.. so tt slim chance was diminished as well.. reason being exams were next wk; the students needa revise.. we shifted the desks back immediately den.. no choice.. lalitha conveyed her concerns to athena.. athena was realli sad.. but i realli duno wad to say.. haiz.. this service of takin up badminton-in-charge was a volunteery service.. but so little support frm the sch.. in future, which teacher wld wana take up such responsiblities man.. p0or athena.. i'm sad for u..
i den l0oked forward to art remedial.. my sec4s.. hopefully can help dem touch up their paper1 work for the mid-yr markin.. dey paper2 is on their own discretion..

BUT,

so many of them didn't turn up..

it was utter disappointment..

esp when i reminded them the day b4.. they jus dun bother.. some of them, i NEVER EVER even seen them at remedial b4.. the teachers bother to stay back.. to help u students.. but u ingrates dun even appreciate.. in the end, onli like 5 or 6 turn up.. i truly appreciate their attendance.. this shall go to peiling, ira, hidayah, sharifa, muthu n 1 more i think.. cant remeber the last one.. or last two.. nevertheless, attendance was horrible.. i even tried to call the students.. onil minyi answered the phone.. she was already on the way hme.. gav the excuse tt didnt bring art work.. realli crap.. XT replied " sorry we didn't attend :/" i even went to 4E for VE n reminded them to turn up.. alicia, adilah, xt, ivy din turn up.. haiz.. it realli spoiled the day.. not forgettin tt it was raining.. pple like alicia skip, still ok.. at least she has works.. but the rest leh?!?! minyi?? how many drawings do u hav? shahirah also?! wheres ALL your development pieces??
at least some pple came to cushion tt frustration.. i'm still ok.. cos i've no personal tie down or commitment.. but mrs chua has family.. a young daughter.. she could hav gone hme to pei her daughter rather den conduct tt miserable remedial.. its a sacrifice mind u all out there.. pls go n appreciate the teachers efforts.. if u dun wana appreciate, jus do it for ur own sake!!
i made my way to the gym aft we locked up.. sweated out my frustrations n felt better..

today was not so bad.. main event was gg back to nyjc for the 40th anniversary.. gt big shot gg.. Minister for Education was there.. saw quite a few ex-schoolmates n had a chat wif them.. hmm lemme see.. EEeEEeEeee cHeah was one of them.. xianwei, alfred as well.. oh ya n fannie.. waifu was sayin she l0oked older.. hmm.. but i thought she l0oks prettier though.. more elegant.. her dressing as well.. yup.. her mum's ondeh ondeh was not bad.. thought i think its a little thick on the outside.. the fillin was g0od.. sp0ke to afew teachers as well.. mr singh.. miss lye, mrs ng, ms tang, ms lim.. yeah.. returned mr singh his photos n paintings tti owed him.. then i chatted wif ms lye abt teachin.. the stress n all.. wif mrs ng, i consulted her on the takin back of my art works.. she WILL try to help by sayin tt my art work isnt v nice n i can take back if the principal asks her.. yea.. actualli my kindof works no longer looks as g0od as the newer ones.. n my prep work sucks as well.. not enuff effort.. its good to take it back n not let it shame longer out there..
went to AMK hub aft the homecoming.. l0oks realli g0od.. same concept as Vivocity.. all the boutiques n food stalls.. yea.. the welcomin aircon was a real pleasure.. was huntin arnd wif wf n angie for tt adidas singlet tt i left out a few months b.. haiz.. realli hard to find nowadays.. onli the outdated shops will hav.. went to Tenchi(tiandi) to get more comics.. even though i vowed never to go there again.. argh.. the urge to read comics was too strong.. *remorse* made arrangements to play badminton wif them next thur.. yea..

k strt to the point.. today i made another student cry.. hmm didnt think i was too harsh on her, but i guess gers this age can b quite fragile.. well it was 1D's photoshop lesson again n i dropped by lingya's table to check on her uniform.. i caught her some time back wif tt stupid shoelace sewed at the bottom of the blouse.. disgusting.. can't these students jus abide the sch rules? anw.. i played hangman on the whiteboard wif her name for detention.. it goes

she s0on started crying.. i reminded her tt there was no need to cry.. deep down, i kinda made me feel guilty.. but i had to stand by my standards of the sch's rules n regulations & b firm on my course of actions.. i got her to stay back aft the class left.. huiting stayed back to accompany her.. as such, yellow lab was left wif the 3 of us.. i started off by asking if they knew tt their attire was improper.. huiting nodded.. lingya shook her head slightly in ignorance.. i further explained tt it was improper, n even mentioned tt their socks also didn't cover their ankles.. another part of the uniform tts off standard..
i moved on to quickly apply the sandwich rule.. good news , bad news , good news...
i mentioned tt they were v g0od students.. i didnt had to worry abt their work since they were always on time.. n were always v focused during the course of the photoshop.. really.. i had to keep my eyes on jacky.. most of the time.. n crystal of cos.. i assured them of their standings in the class.. den i reprimanded them tt it would not b worth it to receive disciplinary action for jus tt stupid uniform wif the shoelace.. told them several other things tt i can't recall all at once.. n i ended off by tellin them to l0ok at me..huiting responded aft a while.. lingya didnt.. den i took the chance to tell her tt i was becos she knew she was in the wrong, tt she was too embarassed to look at me.. think she gets the idea..
i assured them again n again it wasn't a scoldin.. n told them to forget abt it n take pride in their uniform.. m i too picky? or too stringent? i really jus wan students to abide by these simple sch rules.. period.. think its stupid to go detention beocs of tt shoelace or becos ur socks arent high enuff.. students can say tt "cher!! little bit onli.." if tts the case, since its onli a liitle bit, y cant u all jus accomplish tt little bit?? students.. students.. if u're readin, pls jus abide the sch rules..
the 4EX today was back to normal.. since candy came back..her grp started to approach her to do paper 2.. i'm impressed at adilah's findings/interpretation of night lights.. she wanted to work on halloween.. so i gav her a chanel, to work on festivals or seasons where lights can b witnessed at nite.. good work adilah.. now lets see whether u will put in enuff effort to do a gd job for the mid-yr.. more n more students are startin to approach the teachers(candy n myself) to query abt their work.. be it paper1 or paper2.. its a good sign.. art students needa b expressive.. n seek help when they need it.. so good progress there 4EX art students.. *applause*
well i showed them my portfolio as wad i did for the 3EX art students.. cept i concentrated more on how i did my developments.. our art students onli ha these concept of takin a motif n add different designs to it n label tt "development".. crap.. c'mon development is ALOT more than tt.. so wake up pple!! n move on!!
it realli is part2 of -satisfaction through professionalism.. actualli wanted to label my title tt.. alicia was quite impressed wif my paintings.. the pomelo i think.. hope it will excite her enuff to try more painting..the rest as well.. but shes the main one i remembered.. cos aft i flipped over to the next sleeve, she quickly took the one tt i covered (the pomelo sleeve) n place it on top again.. den i asked her y.. den she say she liked it.. haha.. feels like honey in the heart when i heard tt.. heeheehee.. lets hope she can show off a radiant smile aft her braces are out.. haha.. den she can melt guys wif both her art works n smile.. thats a praise n blessin for u since u mention tt u like my painting.. mwahahahahaha...
had lotsa badminton in the later part of the day.. shagged like crap.. stank like crap as well.. even made my way to parkway aft i left sch to get some shuttlecocks in case i'm playin tmr.. dewi boarded he bus wif.. so i praised her for her talet in playin the piano.. n also asked abt the backgrnd(shes frm batam).. yeah.. yonex shuttles are jus too ex.. made do wif ashway.. $17.90.. hope its better quality den the focus100 ones..
saw some pretty vjc gers while waiting for the bus home.. n slept on the comfy seats will i reached my stop.. some of our public buses are jus comfortable for slpin..

w0oo0osSAaa... monday blues? yeah had a little of tt today.. was almost late for sch even.. luckily i ironed my clothes last nite..
m0rning assembly was quite g0od.. seriously.. cept for the section when lalitha n woeiling talked abt the exam procedures.. dun think such things can b drilled into the thick skulls of our students our tt 1/4hr durin assembly.. well had to go back to class n rearrange the tables for the class for exams.. chose to do it for the class.. so i stepped in, told 2H to take their bags n scram to the back of the classrm b4 i started arranging.. cant imagine how long it would take if i were to allow the class to settle it themselves.. haiz.. 2H..

i went to 3EX 2day again to relief candy.. not bad.. i went thru "examiners expectations" n "material control".. think they're able to comprehend wif me at wad i'm driving at.. forgot their exam paper2 question paper.. had to rush back to the staffrm to get it n den distribute in the art rm.. went thru the questions wif.. think they more or less get a feel of wad question INTERPRETATION means.. i urged them to continue wif their paper1 aft the explanation, of which i went thru guoqiang's work.. had a tiff wif him last week.. glad he knew where he went wrong.. meanwhile, i over some1 mentioning cabbage n also saw my black pen being used by a student to render the bug.. as such, i went back to the staffrm again to retrieve my portfolio n batik.. the students were amazed at the art piece.. n i showed them the cabbage i painted n the crab i rendered in ink.. they were truly impressed.. i took this opportunity to encourage them to try out different mediums while they still can in sec3.. sorry to badmouth candy, but i explained tt i disliked papercutting due to the messy process.. several students agreed wif me.. but candy is onli g0od in papercut.. n will b likely to push these students to complete their 'o' lvl coursework in papercut.. these students 'bleahed' at tt idea.. haha..

den a student mentioned tt his pretty good in photoshop, frm wad he learnt in sec2.. so i took his enquiry whether he can complete coursework in photoshop n i'm totally like "YES OF COS U CAN!!" i moved on to mention abt the coursework sharing regardin tt 300/100 marks corporate design work.. n tt he can move in this direction.. den the students eyes lightened up.. think its startin to seive into their thinkings tt they really mus try out a variety of mediums.. essential in art yea..

aft recess was 2B again.. urged them to complete as much as possible as its graded for mid-year.. some of the works are really g0od..went round helpin several of them.. most vivid was carol n daphne.. n hmmm... jackyln yea.. her basketball.. they were also impressed at how tt minor touch up can brighten their piece of work.. goin like "waaaaa~" this are the kinda of words tt makes an art teacher elated n proud of his/her skills..

today was realli a day full of sports.. played badminton for some time wif the badminton grp during the cca time.. didnt realise tt the notice on the hall doors were meant for tuesday.. so i told the badminton guys tt theres no badminton today.. haiz.. carried on playin til peiling finally came to find to take pictures of her n her papercut.. sweet work done there.. as well as alicia's.. tried to drag the time since i was too engrossed smasing dessy.. mwahaha.. den peiling went to the canteen to eat wif her fren n left adeline behind.. since tt was the case, i got adeline to play badminton wif me! on my side.. shes quite g0od at it.. realli on lo.. any shot she will also throw herself at the shuttle to smack it back.. good player.. jus needa practise more often n no doubt she will b darn g0od..

went to take photos aft the long game wif adeline *missed tt game* where i was smashin dessy.. haha.. anw.. had to take photos of these two gals : peiling & alicia to keep for recording.. placed them a/g the schools stars values back drop beside the security post.. turns out pretty g0od.. not forgettin its also becos of my superiors photography skills.. esp the cropping part..

i j0ined back badminton aft the photo-taking.. onli too amazed to c more teacher playin in the hall.. the fat huey mei was playin as well.. vinay, the relief teachers n the NIE trainees all joined.. i even chased asvin awaay to get a teachers reserved court.. mwaaahaha.. managed a few chances to smash hueymei.. but all g0od things come to an end.. mdm maz s0on came in to chase us away cos of her contemp dance.. anw.. cherie's sister in contemp dance too.. nice sister.. polite n pretty.. so unlike cherie..
we moved to the macpherson square n left the female teachers there.. n waldy as well.. the male trainees n myself went in btwn two blocks (edison n shakespeare i think) to play.. 1 V 2.. i win.. mwahaha.. really windy.. not a g0od condition to play badminton.. hmm.. the sch should get a multi purpose hall, next to the badminton hall.. but thats NEVER gg to happen..

i left the gym shortly, onli to return to macpherson square to play badminton again wif some students.. shagged.. as i went to the canteen to get some drinks.. i dropped by the basketball court.. so here we go again.. too temptin.. so i played.. so paiseh.. the score was 11-10, but it was 6 V 2.. haha the two were basketball guys.. oh yeah.. vinay was there as well.. played wif the gers frm 2E last year.. they weren't too pleasant last year.. but this yr, they seem realli nice.. haha
lookin for more workout? nah.. too shagged.. the onli work out left was to get back to the staff rm to pack my stuff.. n walk to the bustop.. had a realli loaded dinner at home to compensate all those energy i lost.. haha.. lets c whether i will come back again 2mr..

i guessed tt aft "i forced her" incident, more n more students are coming up to me to learn how to paint.. mulitiplier effect yea.. its a good sign.. dey know tt the class is improving.. n dey wana catch up as well.. applause to MEGA YESSY for startin to paint today!! think she catch the medium pretty fast.. will b a greater painter given more time n practise.. well there are also some students who are way laggin behind, not anxious abt their work at all.. i wonder i wonder.. should i giv up on dem? hmmm... it conflicts wif my teachin ideals.. but its really tiring to enforce such things..
4NA wasnt too bad.. the gal student tt i've always wanted to slap turned out quite pleasant today.. we even joked around abt my butt n 1/2 bimbos.. haha.. seriously.. these vainpots.. being a bimbo has two criterias : 1) being pretty

i was gg to proceed to the canteen to get food aft the 4EX art class when i passed by the home ec home rm.. the aroma frm the dishes of our F&N students were great!! Turns out tt most are the gers frm 4E! jessica was stationed near the window
so i popped by to ask if theres any edible food.. was shortly joined by adeline n peiling at the staircase b4 we 3 were standing outside the rm, helpin jessica wif her presentation of her dishes.. the chessy hotdogs were fantastic.. luckily i told her to balance the dish wif some tomatoes cos the hotdogs were prolly too salty.. had a slice of her pizza which was really g0od as well.. but didnt hav the chance to eat her baked pasta.. scarlett on the other hand.. was hilarious! think she didnt turn on her cooker to cook her chicken rice.. but i mus say she was realli calm when zurina proclaimed theres onli 5mins remaining.. steady sia.. her chicken rice didnt look good anw.. look v erxin..
so adeline was saying that i should get jessica as my wife.. so i rem.. tt such gers can cook for the family.. 贤妻良母.. haha.. yea good idea.. but student leh.. so young.. then adeline say 6yrs diff is ok.. crap...... i stated tt D&T is better.. so she can cut n design all the furniture in the home.. tt can really save ALOT of cost.. oh shes D&T btw.. haha..

it has a been a stressful week.. even though i'm only into the second day..~.~ my Art mentor Candy is away on MC, n i'm covering her classes.. i would say tt even though its "good" training, its still xtra work.. i'm fine wif the sec3s.. they're express.. they're smart.. they can comprehend wif my level of language.. n not forgettting i taught them b4.. dey're an interestin bunch of kids to teach.. wonder wad 2mr will b like for me wif the sec4 NA.. whoooooosaaaaaaaaaaaaaa... pray for the best.. theres this very attitude gal in tt class.. feel like slappin her.. but shall restrain..
movin on to wads happened today.. sent so many pple to detention.. its good.. i simply lurve it.. sadistic yea? but i dun care.. u break the school rules, u pay the price for yur own actions.. or bi g0od to guo ming.. today, wed, thur, fri detention.. hope u miss a few a get caning.. yea!! sometimes, pple jus needa learn thru the hard way.. i learnt thru the hard way.. so y cant others? i believe in givin chances of cos.. every1 deserves them.. but these pple hav exceeded the status quo.. too bad..
Lessons today (17/04) were fine.. couldnt do photoshop wif my sec 1D due to tt stupid health screening.. think gotta do make up lesson.. waste time!! 2H was fine today.. not much shoutin to b done in class.. n then to the most impt one.. my sec 4EXP..
oh man.. i gotta say tt i realli giv this batch all i've got..if this batch of students can produce better results then last year, then it should show tt i've some quality in coachin Art.. to a certain extent of cos.. pinnin my hopes on Adilah (4E) in my grp.. hope she will hard work too.. n oh yea.. i taught XueTing how to paint today.. i'm glad i forced her.. students needa pushed to tap into their potential.. i find tt(she herself as well) she can paint can well.. shes able to understand my instructions n translate it into actions.. yea.. one of my 1st few painting students.. 1st was melinda wong.. the ingrate.. then Adilah.. then XueTing.. so, XTra, u should b honoured.. think she can work on paintin for her paper2.. in return, i should get a high price for sellin my 02 to her mum.. in addition to a 60% discnt for E65.. oh her mum deals wif handphones btw..
candy dropped by today to collect some work for markin.. kill time at home.. glad she came by to round up the project for the China trip.. think Alicia n PeiLing did a great job in the last week(lesser actually) to complete the papercut assigned to them.. will make sure their efforts are recognised.. Principal would like to thank you all personally.. shiok rite.. haha.. the stupid project, made me rush to bedok for framing.. luckily i had a g0od time chattin wif the framin auntie abt artworks..
proceeded to gym aft tt.. found a realli g0od corner.. wif locker nubmer '234'.. so many chiobus at the gym.. wonder when i will ever pick up the courage to speak to them.. oh yea.. saw sing charn there again.. jason n ann-g seldom go these days.. i took a bus home aft gym.. service 63.. went to the rear of the bus.. saw this man sleeping, wif his bag takin up a seat beside him.. the other passengers b4 simply dun dare to ask him to wake up n giv up the seat.. i went straight up to him, gav a few taps on his shoulder n woke him up.. i must say he is quite auto to remove his bag instantly upon wakin up.. moral of the story/account? take wad is rightfully yours..
